Edible plant cell:
In Mr. Kirste's class we made an edible cell. It was fun to make and fun to eat. I ate most of it but didn't get sick!! We made this so we could see what a cell looks like from the inside. The cell we made was the plant cell so it had a cell wall.
human dna:
We learned about human DNA. We also learned that Chargaffs rule, Franklins discovery, and Watson and Cricks model of DNA help our scientists today with DNA. The A stands for Adenine and the T stands for Thymine. The C stands for Cytosine and the G stands for Guanine.
animal adaptations:
In science we learned that animals have adaptation's to help adapt to their invironment. We even had to make a play with animals that Mr. Kirste assigned to us.
cow eye ball disection:
Mr. Kirste we were able to disect a cows eye. We disected a cows eye because a cows eye is very similar to a human eye. First, you had to cut all the fat and muscle off the eye. Then, you had to cut the eye in half but becareful that you dont damage the inside of the eye. Now, you get to take out the jelly like material in the eye and put it off to the side. Finally, you get to look at the things like the cornea, pupil, iris, lens, retina, and the optic nerve.
